Spanish adjectives for physical appearance

N = Neutral

alto - tall

bajo - short

gordo - fat

delgado - slim

fuerte (N) - strong 

débil (N) - weak

guapo - handsome / pretty (for people only)

feo - ugly

bonito - beautiful (for people or things)

hermoso - beautiful (for people or things)

joven (N) - young

viejo - old

The adverbs we use for these adjectives are:

muy - very

un poco - a little

For physical characteristics, we usually use ser (even if they change sometimes).

Juan es un poco gordo.

María es muy hermosa.

Yo soy alto y fuerte.

Nosotros somos jóvenes y delgados.

Pablo es joven y guapo.
