Cómo conjugar verbos regulares en futuro (how to conjugate regular verbs in the future tense)
En el futuro los sufijos son iguales para los tres tipos de verbos, pero hay una diferencia respecto a los tiempos presentes y pasados: los añadimos al infinitivo del verbo (mantenemos -ar, -er, -ir, respectivamente).
💂 In the future tense, the suffixes are the same for all three types of verbs, but there is a difference with respect to the present and past tenses: we add them to the infinitive form of the verb. (we keep -ar, -er, -ir, respectively).
Mañana yo comeré en casa de mi madre. (Tomorrow, I'm going to eat at my mother's house.)
El año que viene yo viajaré a Japón. (Next year, I will travel to Japan.)
El domingo me levantaré muy tarde. (On Sunday, I'm going to get up very late.)
Uso (usage)
El tiempo futuro tiene el mismo significado que la construcción ir + infinitivo*.
💂 The future tense has the same meaning as the ir + infinitive* construction*.
Mañana yo voy a comer en casa de mi madre.
El año que viene yo voy a viajar a Japón.
El domingo me voy a levantar muy tarde.
*En realidad hay una pequeña diferencia cognitiva (ir a suena un poco más cercano y probable que el tiempo futuro), pero en la práctica tienen un valor temporal virtualmente idéntico.
*💂 There is actually a small cognitive difference (ir a sounds a bit closer and more probable than the future tense), but in practice they have a virtually identical temporal value.
