The course covered a digestible amount of material without being overly burdensome. The homework was super valuable in getting us to repeat the concepts many times over.There were only three students in this class, which I found to be very good, because it gave us plenty of opportunities to speak and engage with the teacher and fellow students. Everyone showed up prepared for each class.

I have really enjoyed taking Spanish at Berges. I previously studied Spanish many years ago, but have forgotten a lot of the grammar rules, conjugations, etc. and taking the course helped me refresh a lot of my memory. I initially only intended to take Level 2, but I enjoyed the classes so much that I continued on to Level 3 and hope to take the rest of the levels and eventually sign up for conversation classes--I really feel like Berges can help me get my Spanish to a conversational level.
I will note that I also try to do Spanish practice throughout the week beyond the assigned homework from Berges, as they recommend in their reminder emails. I don't think just taking the class and doing the homework would be sufficient to gain knowledge quickly, but I think they offer a really good foundation and framework on which to build atop so you can structure your supplemental practice effectively.

It was a challenging course for me, but the pace was well thought out along with challenging homework to reinforce the class. Rolando is an amazing teacher with plenty of patience and keeps you engaged while never overwhelming you with content. Amazing instructor as always. Looking forward to level 3.

Level 2 at Berges was great! I really enjoyed the curriculum and am impressed by how much my Spanish has improved since Level 1. I'm really looking forward to Level 3!

I really like learning Past tense. It opened up my ability to read, write, but especially talk more. It is difficult to express yourself in the present tense only. Now, I have a larger repertoire which broadened my ability for a more extensive conversations.

The course is paced and structured in a very easy-to-follow nature. Since I don’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of content covered and homework given each week, I have time to memorize new vocabulary and grammar rules.

I had a great experience with a Level 2 course. It was the right starting point after years of self study. The Berges method was easy to follow and a good balance of in class instruction and homework reinforcement. Our professor created a friendly safe space while challenging us to speak up and demonstrate new skills. Looking forward to Level 3!

The course book was useful for review and to prepare for the next class, which included weekly homework. I learned enough in Level 2 to be able to construct simple descriptive sentences, discuss events, and also begin to train my ear in the way I hear Spanish spoken around me, outside class.

Course was very well structured and expanded the topics covered in level 1. Content was focused on practical use while delving into grammatical structures. Instructor explained more advanced concepts, which came up often, but we're not part of the course syllabus

The second level Spanish class tor by Andres was a great experience. He provided a very good understanding of second level work and incorporated what I had learned in the first level. I would recommend his class and the Berges institute for a great language learning experience
