I really like Monica and her teaching. This course pushes me out of my comfort zone just enough to learn, but not so far that I am too intimidated to come back. The pace is just right for my otherwise very busy schedule.

I really enjoyed this level and I feel much more comfortable with the preterite form. I thought the lessons were clear, that the homework helped in reinforcing the concepts, and that what we learned in the workbook will be applicable when conversing in Spanish.
Beyond the level though, I cannot say enough good things about the instructor, Gloria. Gloria taught everything very clearly, she was patient, she was very friendly, and she made the classes interesting/engaging. I would not hesitate to take a class with Gloria in the future!!

I feel that in a short time my comprehension and conversational skills have improved immensely. Nelson incorporates humor into every lesson, and it makes our lessons much more lively than a typical "read, memorize and repeat" style. I always look forward to my lessons and showing off what I've learned to my friends!

I really enjoyed this class! The instructor Monica was well prepared, thorough and a great teacher. The lessons were just enough grammar and vocabulary to not be too overwhelming or difficult to comprehend. The homework was just the right amount too. This is the best Spanish course I've taken online. I've tried quite a few and with those I found that the material was either very abstract (topics that are not useful in everyday life) or there is not enough practice of new grammar rules.
This class has great pacing and I really love our instructor. I also like my classmates. It is a diverse group of people from different places. The cost is reasonable and the 90 minute format is perfect.

The Berges Institute's approach to learning is refreshing and fun. The opportunity to switch classes to meet schedules is ideal with the added bonus of being able to review, repeat, or catch up via the video recorded sessions is very convenient and supportive. Level two is not easy, but with studying and our wonderful professor Monica i am sure that I will and my class will be able to continue to level three. The workbook is a great way to reinforce what you have learned and the homework is helpful as well.

I have been most impressed with the Level 2 course at Berges. The website is easy to maneuver if I need to change my class to another date/time. The instructors are fantastic. My spanish is improving rapidly due to the way the course is organized, online materials, teacher engagement, and homework. This is not Spanish light, it is far more engaging than other schools I have attended - exactly what I was hoping for. Lastly, when I complete Level 2, I plan to sign up for the $99/month unlimited so that I can attend any class I choose or repeat classes with other professors. This, I believe, will help me improve even more. Muchas gracias Berges Institute for creating an incredible program! Muy bien!

I really enjoyed this course with Gaston. It was definitely helpful at getting me more comfortable with the past preterite in both regular and irregular verbs, which was my goal.

I did level 2 with Gloria and I loved it! Not only does she explain concept very clearly, but she is very engaging and funny! I always feel energized after a class with her.
When a student makes a mistake, she always corrects them and does it in a way to let the student come to the right answer by themselves. It helps with memory retention! I really feel that she cares about the progress of her students. I already signed up to do level 3 with her!
After I tried to learn Spanish for a long time with online apps, I'm so happy that I found the Berges Institute and I'm finally making progress.

Level 2 was excellent. The material built naturally on Level 1 and helped me feel much more confident using Spanish in real situations. The pacing was just right, with clear explanations, lots of practice, and helpful reinforcement of grammar and vocabulary. I noticed real progress in my comprehension and speaking by the end of the course.

I'm struggling more with this level but only because I've not been able to give the time to study. The teachers are wonderful and each with a different style. I feel like I need more listening and interactive options for practice in the week, in addition to the written homework.

Level two is a nice pace for reviewing the past tense across multiple commonly used conversation topics. The flexibility to reschedule throughout the week is exactly what I needed for learning Spanish as a working professional!
