I did level 2 with Gloria and I loved it! Not only does she explain concept very clearly, but she is very engaging and funny! I always feel energized after a class with her.
When a student makes a mistake, she always corrects them and does it in a way to let the student come to the right answer by themselves. It helps with memory retention! I really feel that she cares about the progress of her students. I already signed up to do level 3 with her!
After I tried to learn Spanish for a long time with online apps, I'm so happy that I found the Berges Institute and I'm finally making progress.

Level 2 was excellent. The material built naturally on Level 1 and helped me feel much more confident using Spanish in real situations. The pacing was just right, with clear explanations, lots of practice, and helpful reinforcement of grammar and vocabulary. I noticed real progress in my comprehension and speaking by the end of the course.

I'm struggling more with this level but only because I've not been able to give the time to study. The teachers are wonderful and each with a different style. I feel like I need more listening and interactive options for practice in the week, in addition to the written homework.

Level two is a nice pace for reviewing the past tense across multiple commonly used conversation topics. The flexibility to reschedule throughout the week is exactly what I needed for learning Spanish as a working professional!

Great learning experience. Classes move at a good pace and class size gives lots of chance to practice speaking as well as learn grammar. Nelson is unfailingly enthusiastic and ensures the class is fun.

I really like the way these lessons/levels are structured. I started with Level 1 as a refresher and I'm glad I did, it helped me understand the pacing of the classes and homework and I was able to double up on classes to make my "refresher" level move a little quicker. Level 2 was super helpful in expanding my speaking skills by including past tense. I'm feeling more and more confident with each class. I'm planning to move to Spain next year and want to be as fluent as I can be! These courses and the scheduling flexibility have made it easy for me to keep on top of the lessons and allow me flexibility when needed.

I found the course to be very informative, not very complicated and a good foundation to learn Spanish in the beginning. The course book was also a plus as this helps to really grasp the material for the week.

Very thorough instructors with detailed textbook. Homework reinforces the concepts learned. There is ample opportunity to practice speaking during online classes. I've taken classes with multiple instructors and have never had a bad experience.

What I love most about this program is the flexibility. I can take several classes a week, or only one, as my own work schedule is constantly changing. Every teacher is a bit different, but all have been excellent. The topics to be covered in each class are pre-designated, which makes hopping from teacher to teacher easy if you need to make up a class. I never feel behind. The videos have also been helpful if I need to skip a class. There is also the option to do an entire level at the same weekly time with the same teacher if that is your preference. Highly recommend!

This course was helpful especially in better understanding the language that is Spanish. It had been harder trying to learn it in my own and this helped illustrate things for me and better speak it with my Spanish friends.

Level 2 had a lot of material to study and made learning the past enjoyable.
It covers alot of information and sometimes I feel we need more than a few classes more classes in each unit to really comprehend each new language rule introduced. Rolando’s has a great personality and teaches his students with patience and kindness. He’s wonderful sense of humor is a plus and makes the class all the more enjoyable. I have taken many classes from Rolando before and I will continue learning to speak and write spanish until I’m conversational.

The instructors are very attentive to the students needs. Learning a new language can be challenging and uncomfortable at times but everyone is rooting for your success. I am so happy I decided to take Spanish classes through Berges!
