I studied Spanish, years ago, and decided to take classes as a refresher course. Level 2 has been great. I am relearning and learning new information at the same time. I like the material and participating in class.

This was one of the best Spanish classes I have taken. The textbook and the lessons were really on point, and easy to follow. Silas was great, as were the substitutes we had from time to time. What I like most about Berges is that you know exactly where you are going next on the learning journey.

The teaching is excellent, and the class content is so well designed that we seem to learn just the right amount and in the right order, even as the grammar is getting more complicated. By the next level, I will be able to write my review completely in Spanish!

Buckle up, Buttercup! Level 2 packs in a lot of information in a short amount of time. I fell behind in lesson 2 and 3 and am still trying to regain ground. Of course the lessons build on one another so being behind is really making it hard. I needed more practice with the preterite tense estar, ir, and ser before adding all the other verbs. I also need to review present tense so I don't forget it. My profesora is doing a great job, I am just struggling to keep up.

The confidence I gained in Level 1, encouraged me to sign up for Level 2 and I am so pleased I did. The course is fun and, at times, quite challenging as it has been many decades since I studied a language, but the teaching style is supportive and safe, and the regular classmates means that we can all celebrate our achievements together. My tutor is Monica and I find her very easy to relate to. I enjoy my weekly class immensely.

The course methods and materials are affordable, well organized, and easy to understand. The instructor provides practical context for using the taught information in real world settings, as well as tips, tricks and general language practice. The pacing is challenging enough to be interesting, but not too hard so I can reasonably learn and remember the concepts between lessons. I'm pleased with the program.

I’ve been trying to teach myself Spanish for years, and past tense is usually where I give up because it seems like there are 10 different ways to say that something happened in the past. I took the placement test and started this course at level two. Level two is helpful because it starts to explain past tense in a way that is finally making sense to me. I also love Gloria. She said at the first lesson that, for level two, she speaks mostly in Spanish, which is SO helpful. She speaks in Spanish through almost the whole class and realizing how much you understand is so encouraging. She is also patient as I construct sentences in Spanish. She immediately corrects mistakes and, if needed, will go back to re-explain something she has already explained to ensure comprehension. I’m very happy that I found this course because it’s making the idea of holding conversations in Spanish seem more realistic than ever before.

Level 2 is definitely more difficult than Level 1. I very much appreciate that I've bee able to continue with Mónica Negron as my teacher. She is engaging and patient. Mónica knows what she is teaching. No judgment when making mistakes. Learning Spanish with Mónica is fun. Altogether, I seem to be making quite some progress.

If you want to master the nitty gritty of Spanish grammar, these classes are for you. I really enjoy the simple approach, having easy access to the course materials, and a good teacher in Rolando. Ty berges!

Level 2 focuses on the past tense. It can be confusing at first since Level 1 is still fresh, but it builds well on the foundation we learned previously.

Level 2 was more difficult than Level 1 which was to be expected because you’re learning more verb tenses and conjugations.it was still fun and slightly addictive when you start actually using the words in conversation and you are understood.

Excellent. Very comprehensive and challenging. A little too much is covered and pace could be slowed down a bit. More emphasis on pronunciation and conversation.

I like the structure; it makes it feel like you are learning something new each week, but not too much. Gloria does a great job adapting to each of us in the class, and I look forward to Mondays as I slowly build confidence to speak more.

I am finding the level to be difficult with all the new concepts be introduced. Taking extra studying but it’s what I need at this point.

The level was challenging to me in a great way. It was a learning curve and the instructor (Monica Negron) made the class a safe space to make mistakes and be corrected in a positive way.
