This course was helpful especially in better understanding the language that is Spanish. It had been harder trying to learn it in my own and this helped illustrate things for me and better speak it with my Spanish friends.

Level 2 had a lot of material to study and made learning the past enjoyable.
It covers alot of information and sometimes I feel we need more than a few classes more classes in each unit to really comprehend each new language rule introduced. Rolando’s has a great personality and teaches his students with patience and kindness. He’s wonderful sense of humor is a plus and makes the class all the more enjoyable. I have taken many classes from Rolando before and I will continue learning to speak and write spanish until I’m conversational.

The instructors are very attentive to the students needs. Learning a new language can be challenging and uncomfortable at times but everyone is rooting for your success. I am so happy I decided to take Spanish classes through Berges!

I love the Berges Method because within just a couple of classes it's possible to start creating functional phrases. Every lesson builds on the last in a way that quickly builds skills and confidence. The instructors have all been welcoming and kind, and encourage participation from all students.

I love these classes and the teachers!! The material is somewhat simple yet thorough and not overwhelming. The pace of the classroom is just right. I took Spanish in HS and college, only up to Spanish 2 so this has been a great continuation after not having taken Spanish classes in 30 years. I started Berges with level 2 and am now halfway through level 3.

Learning to use the Spanish past tense. I had lessons with Ms. Gloria Alveal. She was a dedicated teacher, during her lectures she provides visual presentation of pictures, creates sentence examples for simplification of meaning, and a livelier group interaction. It is a pleasure learning with her.

My only issue was in Unit 6 we only did numbers and had a lot of time left over. For the rest of the session we did reflexive verbs. (We had to change classes for that day and Rolando was not our instructor). Then Units 7 and 8 were jam-packed with new concepts. I just wondered why some of the concepts from Unit 7 weren't put into Unit 6 so 7 and 8 weren't so overloaded. I felt that they had so much information when 6 did not. Besides that I enjoy taking classes from Berges and have learned so much. I spent 3 months in Mexico recently and the classes really came in handy. I'm looking forward to the 3rd level.

Level 2 is great for starting to connect the dots of the language. I found that on holiday to Colombia, I was able to communicate with and understand people in basic conversation, as well as have enough basic knowledge to pick up on context clues. I really like that it reiterates what we learned in Level 1 - I am a very logical learner and the course formula is very logical.

Level 2 covers a lot of topics while still focusing on the past tense. I think the course is designed to go at a slower pace to give students a chance to memorize and practice between classes.

I really like how the courses are laid out. It feels like a natural progression of words you would want to say. The preterite allows me to speak in the past tense, and I'm excited about learning more.

This course was excellent. At first, I didn't think it would take 15 hours of classroom plus homework time to learn the simple past tense but I am happy we spent that much time on it. I have tried to learn it before but it has never stuck. This time it did.
The written materials were very helpful both in the classroom and while doing homework. These materials are efficient as they include enough examples to understand regular patterns plus carefully selected irregular conditions and patterns to promote learning without overwhelming the students.
In my life I have studied many foreign languages using a variety of learning modes. I found this course very effective.

The pace of Level 2 was great, it pushed me while still teaching the basics. I learned so much!
