I had a great experience with the course at Berges Institute, I learned a lot and improved my Spanish. The video format interactive class is the best way to learn. I booked all classes from the beginning and kept me on a regular weekly schedule. I am looking forward to practice and improve what I learned so far. Thank you Berges Institute!

My Spanish courses has been great with Rolando as my Spanish teacher. In only two courses of 10 weeks each course. I've been having conversations at work, reading, writing well. This has been a great experience in this class and I will be finishing all 5 sessions and hopefully at the end of my courses I will be fluent.

Appropriate level and amount of homework for someone who also works a 9-5. Good interaction and clear explanations.

The course is very well constructed. I have taken Spanish classes from one other institute before, but that was not half good of how Berges is. Here I feel that I learned the grammar step by step in an understandable way. The practice questions in the workbook also helped me a lot to strengthen and emphasize what I learned from each class. Previously I always didn't know where to start with my Spanish learning, I felt like I learned them piece by piece, but with Berges, I feel I am learning in a systematic way and I am able to connect what I learned. However - I don't mean to be picky - but if I have to say one thing that I think this course can be improved, I think the workbook questions can add some listening practice. Sometimes I feel when I read the words, I know what it means, but when I hear it, I couldn't recognize it. I know that we have millions of listening materials that we can find online, like YouTube or whatever, but if the listening practices can be added into the workbook, it will be more specific to practice what we just learned in this book.

Berges classes are great. Very structured but adaptable to the level in the class. Thoroughly enjoy and pan on moving to the next level very soon.

I appreciate the class encouragement on speaking spanish during class. I feel bad making mistakes however the encouragement and feedback is positive with correction on how to say it that doesn't make you feel stupid

The course is great - the curriculum flows nicely and doesn't feel too demanding. Great format to learn and practice.

Great class!

I really enjoyed the conversational part of the course, reviewing the homework and having the instructor work with us through examples and every day conversation. I wanted to improve my grammar and Berges does a great job of teaching. I found that there were many skill levels at Level 2. Because of scheduling, I attended classes with 4 different instructors and the teaching and learner levels were not always uniform.

The overall course was really good. A good thing about this new virtual format is the flexibility but I have to admit that I miss the in-person-classes. :)

The course was really well laid out and I felt that I had a solid understanding of the pretérito perfecto.

I thought the speed of the class was perfect and the things we were learning was very useful!

I had an amazing time in Level 2 with Juan Carlos! I have spent the last 2-3 years trying to learn Spanish on my own with Rosetta Stone and Duo Lingo, so I came in with a little bit of knowledge but didn't feel comfortable speaking. This class really helped fill in all of the gaps that I was missing, and I can't believe how much progress I made in 10 weeks. I went from being super self conscious about my Spanish, to genuinely being excited to go to class every week. I'm so looking forward to level 3!

The course covered a digestible amount of material without being overly burdensome. The homework was super valuable in getting us to repeat the concepts many times over.There were only three students in this class, which I found to be very good, because it gave us plenty of opportunities to speak and engage with the teacher and fellow students. Everyone showed up prepared for each class.

Moving on to the past tense is great. It makes communication so much better.

I have really enjoyed taking Spanish at Berges. I previously studied Spanish many years ago, but have forgotten a lot of the grammar rules, conjugations, etc. and taking the course helped me refresh a lot of my memory. I initially only intended to take Level 2, but I enjoyed the classes so much that I continued on to Level 3 and hope to take the rest of the levels and eventually sign up for conversation classes--I really feel like Berges can help me get my Spanish to a conversational level. I will note that I also try to do Spanish practice throughout the week beyond the assigned homework from Berges, as they recommend in their reminder emails. I don't think just taking the class and doing the homework would be sufficient to gain knowledge quickly, but I think they offer a really good foundation and framework on which to build atop so you can structure your supplemental practice effectively.

This course was great! I wish I could have done 2 hour long classes instead. But that's not the fault of the instructor.

The course, and Professor Alvarez's teaching, was a wonderful way to expand my knowledge of Spanish.
