I appreciated how I recognized in this Level 2 booklet, material covered in Level 1. I also really like the weekly e-mails offering supplemental materials to classes of all levels. Sending weekly emails of the homework covered last week was very helpful for me when my schedule changes every week and I sometimes couldn't attend a class.

Good book with a good pace. Instructor explains things clearly and is able to meet all students at their levels, giving the more advanced students some some more challenging grammar and vocabulary without losing the beginners. Good stuff!

I thought the class was great. It was a wonderful way to re-enter the language after not speaking it for a long long long time. Monica is an awesome teacher with the patience of a Saint.

The class was informative and enjoyable and also more fast-paced than Level 1. The information is laid out clearly in the book and if you put the time in you will do really well and learn a lot.

I learned a lot about grammar structure and the instructor always engaged us about what we did over the weekend so we can practice talking/listening in Spanish

I really enjoyed the Level 2 class, and I learned a lot. I placed into Level 2 so I skipped Level 1 and I think it was the right decision. The basic knowledge and vocab that I had already was a solid foundation for the Level 2 course. I learned a lot and enjoyed the style and method of teaching!

Awesome course - but could do with a few minor improvements hence the 4/5 stars. The classes largely cover material in the text and are a little too lecture driven for my liking. In my opinion the fastest gains when building and using new vocabulary come from real interactions and conversation. 90% of each class involves the teacher speaking, explaining material from the book. A greater emphasis needs to be placed on spending time to work on students pronunciation and vocabulary recall in real conversations.

Very good class. Learned and understood much more Spanish than I thought I would. Very pleasant atmosphere with people who are very helpful. Hope to continue and become fluent in this language

I started at Level 2, based on the placement test, but found I had to get the Level 1 workbook and catch up at the same time! Fortunately I had the time to rise to the challenge, and it was great fun. I am now signed up for Level 3 and looking forward to more speaking exercises in class. If you make the commitment to study you can really progress here. The classes are small, the teachers and staff are great, and they offer a flexible make-up schedule.

Really enjoyed this class and learned so much. I would definitely recommend Berges to anyone looking to learn spanish. I'm looking forward to continuing through the levels.
