The course was challenging for first timers but the teacher simplified it and made it very enjoyable and informative. I learned a lot with the way she taught the class with everyday examples, asked questions so we can think and the assignments really help to reinforce the learning

I enjoyed this class and greatly improved my proficiency. The instructor facilitated a comfortable environment to practice speaking, which has been challenging to me in the past. The pace of the course was great and homework was enough for essential practice without being overwhelming.

This course was very good. The grammar-based approach is very helpful to anyone who wants to eventually become fluent in spanish. Sofia is very good at keeping students focused on correct grammar, pointing out every mistake while still encouraging progress. I would recommend this class, this teaching method and this teacher.

They are small, intimate classes which allows for a more specialized experience. Alexandra is an amazing professor and I plan to take all available Spanish classes with her. She creates a judgement-free zone within her courses, and is open to answering any and all questions.

The class material was covered well, all concepts were fully explained, etc. Sofia went into concepts and handled trouble spots for students accurately and thoroughly. Additionally, she brought in creative exercises that helped expand the language beyond what just the book taught and fostered an outside-the-box approach in addition to the curriculum.
