I appreciate the emphasis on speaking in class; the instructor makes sure that you have an understanding of the topic for that week, but as adults we can go over exercises at home/during the week and practice that in class through dialogue

The course was great. It felt a bit below the level I am at, but I still learned a lot. My only feedback is to enforce people to only speak in spanish as much as possible.

Thought it was very insightful. Liked the structure and was able to build of the Spanish I knew. I like how things were constantly integrated from previous weeks making it easier to retain the information.

I love the structure of the course. It’s very logical and each chapter compliments the previous one. I’m also really happy with Nicolas’s teaching style. Speaking in foreign language in front of other people can be intimidating, but he makes everyone feel comfortable with it.

The course is good and easy to catch. Instructor plays a vital role when it comes to language classes. Nicolas does great! The style he has is easy and playful -- essential to relax and not thinking or being scared about making mistakes. I keep going towards improving my Spanish and talk better soon. Thanks a lot!

Nelson was fantastic. Great job of keeping it fun, encouraging conversation, and teaching the fundamentals. But 1x/week group classes do not a Spanish-speaker make. It's not enough practice or instruction.

The lesson structure really lends to common sense understanding the language. My biggest issue is that I need to practice more!!!

This course was fantastic! I learned so much in this class - which was very useful on a recent trip to Peru. Melissa is a great instructor in every way. She gives very clear explanations and makes the class really fun.

Overall the course was very good and enjoyable. The pleasure of learning a new language is real! The organization of the classes was at times a little off -- some weeks there was very little material covered (for example the numbers class) and others too many concepts. A slight revision in the composition of the lessons would be beneficial and make learning easier.

Perfect fit for my schedule. Really enjoyed the smaller more intimate setting to learn. All staff that works there seems so pleasant and welcoming. Being able to a wide variety of options for the classes, the length of class time and the duration of the program is great!

Level 2 was certainly more difficult than Level 1 but Monica's personable teaching style made it manageable and enjoyable. I wish there were more opportunities for conversation so we can have more practical use of what we've learned.

Level 2 was great! We built on the verbs we learnt in level 1, but this time in the simple past tense. Course material, homework and class exercises were excellent.

Level 2 was fantastic! I built upon the principles learned in Level 1 and helped me to greatly broaden my vocabulary. I really like how the instructor spent a good amount of time at the beginning of each class reviewing with us what we just learned. We also spoke in Spanish a majority of the time, so it helped me with pronunciation as well.

I signed up for Level 2 right after completing Level 1 and enjoyed the new material. I liked how the homework utilized material from the first level as well - I felt like I was building my vocabulary and skills. I have signed up for Level 3, so I will be continuing on at Berges.
