This was a very good course. I didn’t expect to learn so much from This course. The teacher gave me confidence to go on with my study of Spanish. Everyone, the teacher and staff was so supportive. I told my friends that if you want to learn Spanish go to Berges Institute!

I enjoyed the Level 3 course. The instructor, Sofia Medina, did a good job of integrating other resources towards the 2nd half of the class. Good job a providing context for terms/phrases in common usage. Recommend more Q&A of discussion in Spanish in order to face the students to use the grammar and tenses being reviewed at the time. I recommend Berges and Sophia for anyone looking to advance their level in Spanish.

Like every Berges course I have taken, this one was efficient, fun and yielded quick results.

Level 3 focuses on the imperfect tense. The class gave us many opportunities to understand how and when to use this tense. I actually was very surprised how much I liked the online classes as well.

The class is what I exactly I needed. The various past tenses are difficult and Alexandra made it easy to understand. Looking forward with Level 4 with her!

Level 3 was my first class with Berges. I learned Spanish in high school, college, and studying abroad in Spain, but I’ve lost a lot of knowledge over the last 20 years. This class was just what I needed to feel so much more comfortable with past tense. I’m excited to continue on to Level 4!

I enjoyed the course. I think the classes are long and detailed enough to promote conversation and understanding

The curriculum was a good way to get back into my Spanish. Sofia was patient and professional. It was my first on-line class and I believe teaching and learning is more difficult in this format. Much harder to have a connection / comrade roe with other students

Ian is caring and knows both English and Spanish well so it’s a plus. Any shortcomings are in the books - not enough readings and not enough interesting ways to remember things - ie mnemonics or other approaches - for example for each new word there ought to be a memorable corresponding sentence - every single word.

I really enjoyed this class! It's been a few years since I've really engaged in Spanish, and I already feel like I've made a lot of progress in just 10 weeks. Ian provided detailed feedback on our homework and conversations--which really helped me become more mindful of common missteps I was making. I also felt like he held us to high expectations which was nice. It kept me motivated to continuing to put forth effort.

Spanish 3 was an excellent course. I feel that I could now get by pretty well in most everyday conversations in Spanish, although certainly there is more to learn in Spanish 4 and 5.

Great course, harder then previous two but taught me a lot and made me feel more comfortable to speak more. Definitely recommend it.

I really enjoyed the course overall, and could really tell how much my Spanish improved over time. I've already signed up for the next level and am excited to keep learning!

The material, in both complexity and volume, increases with each level. Level 3 is a greater challenge than level 2, and the possibility of speaking sentences you never thought before, like in a real conversation, gets closer.

The course was great, as was Rolando. It was disappointing that most of the classes were conducted virtually, however, the silver lining was that half of the class dropped out so it was a more intimate setting.

The course was great, straight to the point, explained well, wonderful examples and howework to practice material. I would suggest a little more time incorporated to speak during class.
