My understanding of and ability to speak Spanish has improved exponentially thanks to the great tutelage from el maestro Juan Carlos. I also enjoyed the small class format (online) and the homework really sharpened my knowledge of how to conjugate verbs and also increased my vocabulary. I look forward to learning more Spanish in a Level 4 class with Juan Carlos.

This level focuses on verbs and tenses, which are critical. Julia is excellent!! My Spanish is really improving!! Julia and all the instructors are able to balance helping adult students to learn, with questions etc, and yet making us feel like we are improving!! These classes are great!!

This course covers enough that you feel like you're learning a lot, but not too much that you're overwhelmed. The homework assignments are helpful and each lesson builds on what you learned before. By the end I felt comfortable writing, listening, and speaking in all the topics covered.

This was my first time taking a Zoom course like this. Much to my surprise I enjoyed it and followed the schedule. I would recommend this platform to others.

The course is hard, you need to put in the work to get the best benefit. Practice and study will go a long way in learning the tenses and mastering when to use them.

All of the courses are well designed and the level 3 course is no different. The Berges Method is a direct, no nonsense way of teaching spanish. Anyone willing to put in the work can begin to have a working knowledge of spanish and progress to a good level of fluency. This is not your average pedagogical approach to learning the language. It has truly helped me and with effort on my part, I have been able to become more fluent.

The classes I’ve had with Berges (Lv1-3) have been great! I’m learning a lot and feeling much more confident. I’ve recommended several friends. I hope Berges continues to have online classes even after the pandemic resolves.

This course has proved immensely helpful in learning and practicing useful everyday Spanish that I can use more and more at work. The pace is steady and not too fast and the progression of the material is logical.

The course was great. It was structured in a way that made the new concepts fit into an overall context. I found it easier to understand the new material in this course than in courses I've taken at other places.

Such a wonderful way to study a language. My instructor Rolando was helpful, patient, funny and on time. It was a pleasure to have him as a teacher. The format (Zoom equivalent) lends itself well to a small group instruction, and while I am on the West Coast and the other students and Rolando were on the East Coast, it always felt intimate. Rolando had a knack for remembering details about our lives that he would then help us expand on in Spanish. The format is basic and easy to follow. Homework is doable in about an hour or two. Rolando offered more options for deeper study and practice that were very helpful. An excellent course!!!

It was wonderful -- I learned so much. I loved Alejandro's approach to learning. He kept it interesting and had us really use our brains and speak a lot as well to grasp the material and language generally.
