I enjoyed this Level 4 class as much as the previous 3 classes. All the material is presented in a form which promotes understanding. This course also offered ample opportunities for practice.

The class was very good. All students were at a similar level. The teacher was knowledgeable, experienced and had a good sense of humor. So the class moved at a good pace.

This was my second class with professor N. The material was definitely more challenging than level 3 but Alejandro took the time to run us through exercises and drills to really lock it in. Highly recommend.

I started with Berges for Level 1 at the start of the year and have just completed Level 4. The material in this level seemed more complex, though the book does do a good job of explaining these complex topics (direct and indirect object pronouns etc.) The homework was useful as ever in helping practice. I also liked the short stories in the homework - it improved my confidence knowing that I could comprehend most of the text!

I am currently learning Spanish in any way I can including a meetup and investment in books. In reality I needed a structued approach with interaction which Berges provides including a test to gage my success. Well worth the commute from Connecticut.

Great presentation, clear for a student at my level, Mr Navarro is very kind and professional and a great teacher.

The class was well-taught and planned. The text used is excellent. However, the final test is too long, contains trick questions, and some of the answers are debatable. It needs to be rewritten.

Each class started with the opportunity to practice our conversation skills and was then followed by a grammar lesson. Maria was able to make the content very accessible and really deepen my appreciation for and confidence in speaking Spanish. I am looking forward to taking the next level with her.

Good course overall! It is sometimes hard to retain very much when only meeting once a week, but it is still quite useful.

This course was the first post-college Spanish grammar class I have taken. I found it to be challenging but not overly difficult. I believe the grammar topics were well chosen but I think there should have been more drills instead of the time spent reading the workbook aloud.

This was my 4th class at Berges. It was more challenging than the first 3 classes but I learned a lot and am happy with the content of all the classes that I have had thus far.

The course has a tremendous amount of material and I would have preferred less material and more time for this level.

I haven't taken a course with Berges prior and placed into the Level 4 class. My instructor did a great job of refreshing my memory when class began. Throughout the class, we had meaningful conversations and I definitely have a thorough understanding of the topics we covered in Level 4. I enjoyed class so much that I've signed up for Level 5!

I liked having a test at the end of the course and I really appreciated being able to schedule make up classes if I missed a session. The administration of the class was excellent. There were a few things that I felt were lacking. I would have liked more examples and opportunity to practice the verb conjugations. I felt as though the book we were provided would explain the rule itself and we would do a few practice exercises in class and for the homework, but I would have liked more practice. Also, I would have liked more listening comprehension exercises with native speakers.
