This is my second course with Monica. She is very skilled at teaching. She explains things clearly and in a practical order. I’m enjoying learning from her and will take her next course.

I haven't finished level 4 yet, but so far I'm loving it. I'm getting lots of practice with different tenses and also learning a lot about pronouns. It's an excellent class.

I have the course with Silas. I am enjoying the interactive presentation of the course and we are not "lectured at". We practice what we learn during the lessons! Silas explains the nuances of phrases and always provides alternative ways to say things in spanish. The class maintains my engagement and makes the time go by fast! Highly recommend!

The Berges Institute delivers on all aspects of learning the Spanish language and more. The units are broken up into snack size elements and the homework reflects the weekly materials. I would HIGHLY recommend the program if you are considering (or refreshing) your knowledge of the Spanish language. The flexibility built into the course structure provides for changing classes and meeting a busy schedule. The sessions are taught by very qualified instructors and the material is consistent from teacher to teacher. The instructor brings his or her flare to each unit. Silas is the BEST! Sign up for his course, you won't be disappointed.

First and foremost I think Juan Carlos is an excellent teacher. His instruction is clear and concise. He is a pleasure to spend 1.5 Hours with each week. For me, it would be helpful if we had time to review the homework and to stay on a topic longer than one lesson. While I understand that there are times that one lesson builds upon a previous one, the pace of learning a particular topic seems short Overall, I really enjoy my classes and plan to continue on and probably retake a level or two

I am on a Berges monthly plan, which allows me to take classes whenever my schedule permits. One of the features I appreciate most is the ability to go back and repeat classes when I need additional practice with more challenging concepts. The teachers are incredible. My favorites are Juan Carlos Alverez, María Chanamé, Silas Bermudez, and Gloria Alveal. They are knowledgeable, engaging, and make learning enjoyable. It is amazing to be able to choose my instructors! The website is user friendly and contains everything needed to get started. But I also choose to buy the workbooks on Amazon which I also appreciate. The "Search for Classes" feature makes it easy to find class dates and times, as well as classes taught by my favorite professors. I have recently advanced to Level 4 and am thoroughly enjoying the program. Berges Institute makes language learning so accessible while maintaining a high standard of excellence. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a flexible and effective environment. ¡Muchas gracias!

A good mix of speaking and grammar. Nelson is a great tutor - he’s always very enthusiastic and makes the classes fun.

I really enjoyed the structure of the class and felt that Maria was great about engaging everyone and providing clear instruction on topics. The homework helped reinforce teachings and I learned a lot.

I am enjoying the class, the text book is very clear and the homework provides great practice. The teacher starts the class with some conversation which I like, and gives a lot of time for practice of new concepts which I also appreciate. Sometimes the teaching of new information is a bit fast, but I’ve found that if I read over the material in the text book before the class, this isn’t a problem. The teacher is friendly and engaging and supportive.

Marian is a fantastic teacher! The course has been great. Very detailed and the homework really helps incorporate what we covered in the lesson. There needs to be a level 6!!

I love the Berges Institute classes and how the curriculum is structured. It's brilliant how each unit builds upon the last in small steps, and in a way that increases my ability to create phrases and sentences exponentially every few weeks. I also appreciate the passion and kindness of the teachers. Monica is just so lovely that I really look forward to seeing her every week for class. It's hard for me to make myself sit down each week to take any Spanish class- time wise, energy wise, and socially- it's a lot! But Monica is so warm and patient and encouraging that I don't think I have missed one of her classes yet, even on my busiest days, and even when on vacation. She is gem of a person and an instructor, and I hope to continue as her student as I progress.

Love Berges! This is exactly what I needed to take my Spamish learning to the next level. I have become more confident in my speaking. There are sufficient time slots for each class to fit my schedule. So happy to have found this.

I found Level 4 most important. It reviewed lessons I learned in Level 3, thus reinforcing my basic knowledge and then it built on that information with new material. This pedological procedure is most helpful in my learning and unique to Berges.
