Before the class at Berges I didn't think I could learn the Subjunctive (it was just so darn confusing to me!). Even the Imperative tense tripped me up. I had taken two previous classes on the Subjunctive (at other schools) and had just about given up. I gave it one more try at Berges and was so glad I did! I found the style of teaching to be extremely clear. I enjoyed the simplicity of the book. It helped me that we went over the answers to the homework in class. I did study quite a bit every week, too, but in the end it was worth it! I may not be perfect with the Subjunctive, but the class helped me a lot!

The structure is pretty good and has a nice mix of review to help remember what was covered previously in level 4. Nicholas was an awesome instructor and I really enjoyed his patient approach and willingness to go outside of the lesson plan of we have specific questions. Great guy and I recommend Berges in general

Level 5 was challenging but Ms. Melissa made it engaging and attainable. I've been very happy at Berges and I'm excited to move on to the conversation classes.

Really enjoyed this class. Eva was patient and helpful (as always). In spite of the difficult subject matter, I feel like I have a decent grasp of the subjunctive, conditional, and imperative. Eva is great.

The course covered a fundamental (but confusing) topic but Melissa taught it well so that it was easy to understand. Although it was a bit more challenging to grasp than previous topics, it is essential.

Great lessons by Nelson. He explained the difficult concepts very well and I like that he spoke like a native without slowing down, so that I could really learn how to understand how native Spanish speakers speak. Every class was very enjoyable and always peppered with hands-on learning such as individual examples so we all had our chance to speak.

I was repeating the class because I'd missed a few sessions the last time I took it, and now feel far more confident in the subjunctive and conditional tenses. Level 5 does move fast and could likely be split into 2 courses (or a longer one) but was excellent.

This is my first course at Berges and I was extremely impressed by the text and the structure of the class. It is the most efficient method of teaching Spanish grammar that I have ever encountered. You have boiled it down to the essentials. And based on the two I encountered, you seem to have trained the teachers very well in how to use the text.

The material for this course was definitely difficult. It compromised of several verb tenses and was not easy. By the end however, I felt like I had a solid grasp of the material and I feel more confident in continuing my goal of learning Spanish.

Nicholas is an amazing teacher! His genuine interest in people and their ideas inspires students to try to communicate en Español. My only question is why the many verb tenses covered in Level 5 are not spread out in Levels 4 and 5?

I enjoyed the challenge of Level 5, having studied at Berges from Level 1 through to this level. However I do agree with other students' reviews, that the pacing of this final level feels quite rushed. There's a lot of new tenses to learn but also a huge chunk of verb conjugations to memorize.

this was a broad overview of remaining tenses- Subjunctive, Imperative, Conditional. It was a lot ot cover, but gives a baseline for further study. Nicolas is a fantastic teacher. Really emphasized key points and encouraged conversation.
