Too much material in one course. Way too much to remember at once.

A lot of information contained in level 5, maybe it would be a good idea to split level 5 into level 5 and a level 6.

The course is really good. I had looked around for many online courses. Berges Institute provided exactly what I was looking for. Rolando is an excellent instructor, better than any instructors I had ever had. He is very professional and makes you feel comfortable talking and conversing in Spanish. Much appreciated!

Phenomenal course... effective, relevant, personal. Rolando is an outstanding teacher!! I highly recommend Berges and, specifically, Rolando as your instructor.

Level 5 covers some difficult concepts (at least they are for me), but the course structure covers the different topics in a well laid out manner with each part building on the others. I enjoyed the course even though I struggle with conjugating the Subjunctive and Conditional but hopefully it will come with time.

Really wonderful but as many instructors remarked more time studying different tenses/moods could be helpful.

The course helped me gain a better understanding of the Spanish language from the grammar to pronunciation. I enjoyed working with each instructor as they were very patient and understanding to my weaknesses.

The level 5 course was excellent. I learned about advanced spanish involving the subjunctive. I enjoy the focused topics for each class along with the homework that reinforces learning. I would highly recommend Berges Institute to anyone interested in learning a language.

Level 5 is difficult and very helpful. This time I am much more confident on the use of subjunctive. Juan Carlos makes up his own exercises to help us practice when to use subjunctive. He always points out how the grammar is used in Spain. His classes are enjoyable and informative.

It’s a great course, just challenging enough, need to study and review. I’m been doing Berges for quite a few months now and I’m happy and will continue. what’s great I think is you can retake classes for free at times that are often available

a great course teaching some of the more challenging aspects of Spanish. I feel like I improved a lot just by repetition and seeing all the different forms. I recommended highly.

I liked the pace of the learning, and the increase in difficulty. It was challenging but manageable. The class was small enough where I got enough individual attention.

Monika was great. Amazing teacher, patient and personable with a sense of humor.. However, I was disappointed in level 5. It was a difficult level and I felt it should have been divided into two for level 5 and 6. I felt the students I was with sounded the same as me. I feel to be more fluent, there should be more practice and less content at each lesson. I was happy with levels 1-4 but 5 was disappointing.

Course had a patient and well-prepared teacher (Mónica), but too much material was crammed into 10 weeks, making it very hard to learn.

As I have written before, Nicolas is a fantastic and engaged instructor. Here are my thoughts about Level 5. First of all, I would recommend that students be strongly urged to take a conversation class after Level 4 so that they can master - or at least have more practice with - the indicative in its various forms before jumping into the subjunctive. I also think that Level 5 has so much new - and difficult material - in it that Berges should consider spreading out the material a bit more by creating a sixth level. At the very least, Berges should consider deleting some of the reading comprehension selections and substituting more exercises/homework on the subjunctive and conditional.

Having completed level 5 I feel like I have a solid grounding in the essentials of Spanish grammar, and I'm ready to move on to a focus on vocabulary building and conversation. The material was presented clearly and explained well during class time.

Too much complex material to effectively learn in 10 weeks, on top of all the concepts we haven't solidified from previous courses.
