Great teacher, very patient and down to earth. Berges provides a schedule where anyone can find a convenient time which for me was Saturday. I learned a lot without feeling like there is too much which was amazing.

Berges Institute has some excellent instructors and flexible schedules. The course is very simple but it covers all the basics. I was able to converse in simple Spanish in a relatively short period of time. Introduced vocabulary during the course was not very extensive but the course covered most of the grammar. The learning experience at Berges Institute was overall very positive.

Overall class was ok. I would recommend more interaction with Spanish speakers at the beginners level. And I also think it depends on the instructor. I noticed different styles. The class was too fast and needs more time for review.

I am totally a level 1 student and was quite surprised that I passed the course. It was Nelson, who replaced our first, beautiful teacher, during lesson 5. He immediately began speaking to each of us in Spanish, which required more of me in the way of comprehension and responding. I learned the basics, I assume; which will assist me with advancing as I continue. I am still, however, quite a novice, and continue to need lots of practice and study. Thanks to Nelson--an awesome teacher and personality!

I liked the course very much. I went from knowing a few words and expressions that I learned from travelling to being able to speak elementary sentences. Baby steps, but it's a beginning.

This is an engaging and interactive course focused on grammatical and semantic correctness. The instructor also makes learning quite fun. All said, this class was the perfect choice for me.
