This class is great. I have learned so much and I am starting to understand more and more on the cougation of words. Truly, I don't know every word. However, it has been challenging but also enjoyable because I am learning spanish with my wife in this class. The instructor is awsome and patient with students as we learn and I thank you.

I had a really positive experience with the 10-week Beginner Spanish course. The instructors were excellent, especially María Chanamé and Yuli Casallas. They consistently challenged us to speak in Spanish and made sure everyone had the opportunity to participate, which made the classes engaging and helped build confidence.
I also really appreciated the flexibility to reschedule classes when needed. The textbook was another big plus — it was well structured, easy to print and annotate, and something you could really make your own throughout the course.
Overall, it was a great first introduction to Spanish, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to start learning the language!

I’m currently taking the beginner level at Berges Institute, and I’m really enjoying it so far. The level is suitable for beginners and the lessons are easy to follow, while still challenging you to learn and practise new vocabulary and grammar. I

This level of Spanish is very good for beginners although I do feel more time is needed for the lesson. Sometimes it is hard to keep up with the lessons.

So far covered a lot of ground. It’s very thorough and teacher is good. Sometimes finding it tricky to recall vocabulary and find it in the lessons. It’s a good starting point

The level has been good. I knew bits of Spanish as I had been using online resources and Duolingo for many years. I was using the lessons to reinforce what I knew and also gain confidence speaking. I have ended up learning far more than I ever imagined.
I've still not mastered the talking completely but the confidence is improving and I'm seeing this as adding further building blocks so that I can begin speaking more coherently in time. I have learnt so much over 9 weeks and with holidays and life getting in the way the Berges method has allowed me to rearrange lessons.
I'm keen to step up to the next level to how much further I can improve my Spanish.

I've been learning with Rolando Gonzalez for 6 classes so far. And it's been really good, I'm confident in what I've learnt so far. Every class begins with discussing the homework for the previous class. And it's a highly interactive discussion with Rolando and all the students. It's been great so far, highly recommend.

Beginner level was perfect for me - live instruction, a set class time with other students participating, no technology issues to resolve when accessing the class or the course material, easy to reschedule if needed. I couldn’t be more pleased or more encouraged! Looking forward to the next level.

I completed week 6 of the beginner's course yesterday and I am very much enjoying it. My husband and I have been visiting Spain for a month for the last two years and I wanted to try to learn Spanish so that I can speak to people in shops and restaurants, etc. The content of this course is perfect for me and the way we have been building on grammar is making the learning easier. The homework tasks are essential for consolidating the learning. Our tutor, Luana, is very knowledgeable and she keeps our lessons interesting and fun. I have already recommended the course to others.
