What an amazing beginner course! Not only did I learn everything they promised, but I had so much fun doing it! The class format is great and our instructor, Julia Negrete, was top-notch. The class was mostly in Spanish so you had a lot of instances to speak and write using the language. I just signed up for Level 2 and I can't wait to start!

The curriculum of the class was very effective. In a short period of time I was able to build long and full sentences on my own. Also, the instructor was very helpful. She was very thorough with her explanations and examples.

I've taken Spanish and other language courses and your school was the only place that taught the language in a way that helped me retain it. The Graf method is the most logical way to teach adult learners a language and it used to be the standard until this "total immersion" language learning style became the method. I also appreciate that the class is challenging but is not overly ambitious with the volume of vocabulary. This course fits in with the schedule of a full time employee.

Excellent course. The teacher was comprehensive in her review of the course book material. She was patient in her approach to each student. She always encouraged students to pace themselves in order to become familiar with all of the new material. She had a easy-going yet focused and professional approach to teaching.

I very much enjoyed the stucture of the class. You learn new material in each class, then there is an oral portion where the teacher has you practice speaking, then homework is assigned to further solidify the class material.

Jennifer and Alejandro are very good teachers making the class fun. My only complaint would be the book - you will have to search for the vocabulary since it is splattered throughout the book. A summary of all at the end of the book would be very helpful.

Great teacher, very patient and down to earth. Berges provides a schedule where anyone can find a convenient time which for me was Saturday. I learned a lot without feeling like there is too much which was amazing.

Berges Institute has some excellent instructors and flexible schedules. The course is very simple but it covers all the basics. I was able to converse in simple Spanish in a relatively short period of time. Introduced vocabulary during the course was not very extensive but the course covered most of the grammar. The learning experience at Berges Institute was overall very positive.

Overall class was ok. I would recommend more interaction with Spanish speakers at the beginners level. And I also think it depends on the instructor. I noticed different styles. The class was too fast and needs more time for review.
