The Berges method for learning Spanish is excellent and I learned so much in the beginner class. I would highly recommend Berges Institute. I became more confident every week and cannot wait to start the second level.

I am a total beginner (I knew 2 words in Spanish _Hola/Adios:) At the first class, it seemed really fast and everyone seemed to have some basis in Spanish so I became disillusioned immediately. However, I persisted and after one or two more classes, although I am was still not great speaking, the information is in my head and I think Alexandria found a way that works to be inclusive of me in conversations but at a level that works for me.

Although I learned a bit of Spanish in high school, it was a good refresher course. The pace may seem intense at first but you get used to it.

I learnt so much in such a quick time here. I had previously done another course with a different school and I didn’t enjoy it & barely learnt anything useful, but this was great. All my Spanish speaking friends have even said how well I’m doing here

Im now able to communicate and understand some spanish. And this is just beginners level. When my schedule permits i would take the next level with the same teacher. I really enjoyed the class! I Highly recommend!

There wasn't nearly enough speaking practice time during class, and I didn't learn the types of phrases I was hoping to. I thought we could have gotten the same grammar instruction from a class more oriented towards the types of conversations and questions you have while traveling

I took a level 1 spanish course in Berges Institute, Ed was pretty good at explaining complicated grammar rules. The pace of the course is very well, you have a good amount of knowledge about Spanish at the end of the course.

I thought the class did a really good job at teaching the basics. I've actually studied Spanish all through grade school and college and I wanted to retake classes because my new job requires Spanish usage daily. So, I started with the beginner course because of the Groupon and LOVED IT. I thought our teacher was very approachable and made people feel comfortable even when they messed up. I'm already signed up for level 2. :-)

The progression of grammatical concepts was excellent, as was the amount of interaction and conversation, and Nelson was very flexible as people entered and left our particular class because of changes in their schedules.
