The course was a helpful introduction to Spanish. We did a lot of repetition of new words/sounds and going over homework in class. Towards the end of the course we begun practicing short dialogues and interactions, on the topics of our likes/dislikes etc.

The course was enjoyable because Nelson explained the language in a clear and fun way and made it relevant to my everyday life. He is very encouraging. I began to be really interested in Spanish and started trying to decipher the notices in Spanish subways and other places. Fun!
