I had the privilege of being a student in Professor Sofia's Spanish class, and I must express my sincere appreciation for her exceptional teaching style. Berges Institute provides a great service for adult learners who need to learn a language from the very beginning at their own pace and around their own schedule. The first course provided a very solid foundation!

I enjoy how this course is structured to gradually introduce the fundamentals of learning to communicate in Spanish. Each week offers segmented batches of vocabulary, in addition to rules for how these words should be properly structured and used in everyday scenarios. If you put in the time to memorize and practice the new vocabulary introduced each week to stay up with the class, then you will surely see progress.

Great course. Excellent instructor. Very interactive. Forces you to learn and speak Spanish, instead of just listening and forgetting.

I enjoyed the beginners course. Before starting with Berges, I had some background in Spanish but forgot a lot of the grammar and didn't have any confidence speaking. The textbook, homework, and exercises in class were well structured and I felt like I learned a lot within the 10 weeks. I also feel more confident speaking.
