Spanish classes in Pine Bluff

The teacher was excellent. Good pronunciation help and did a nice job explaining topics. However, he consistently started the class 5 to 10 minutes late because his other class ended too soon to make it on time (not his fault—this is on Berges). Also, because we reviewed the homework so much each class, we didn’t have as much time to learn new topics and practice conversation. I would’ve preferred just receiving the answers via email and having 20 minutes to ask questions about it (and then focusing on new topics). Also, I was sad to see that the teacher was substituted on the last 2 days of the class. This was frustrating.

Relatively straight forward for a beginner class.

This class was great! I learned the basics of Spanish and felt like I really grew in my knowledge and understanding of Spanish over the 10 weeks. The content and materials are well-organized and having homework each week helped. Great course

I am very pleasantly surprised by how much Spanish I learned in the Beginner course. For a few years, I have tried to learn Spanish from books and software, but I learned more in these 10 weeks at Berges. Andres Lopez is an outstanding teacher and the course material was very good.

Love the class for our instructor's remarkably clear grammatical instructions, sophisticated cultural references, and wonderful lightness in the exchanges.

Even though I tested into the second level, I saw that the first level was on groupon and decided to use the discounted price as a way to gauge if I like the school and teaching style before committing to the full price and ongoing classes. Berges Institute was great and my instructor Alejandro was wonderful as well. I enjoyed that vocabulary was mostly on students to learn and class focused on grammar and practicing conversational Spanish.
