I enjoyed the beginners course. Before starting with Berges, I had some background in Spanish but forgot a lot of the grammar and didn't have any confidence speaking. The textbook, homework, and exercises in class were well structured and I felt like I learned a lot within the 10 weeks. I also feel more confident speaking.

I had taken Spanish many years ago and thought that I needed a refresher/back-to-basics type of class and I got that and so much more! By the end of the class, I am able to converse and speak about myself and others in Spanish, which is a huge leap. I'm excited to keep learning as I've signed up for Level 2! I love this method of teaching & learning as it's realistic and easy-to-understand.

This was beyond a boring class the first few sessions. It was an entire 90 minutes on going over pronunciation in the following sessions. The teacher often forgot the name of the students who to ask questions to next he never once deviated from the written workbook that you gave. A teacher is not a teacher if they just read the written, workbook, and give the same exercises. I did not take most of this course. I cannot learn with a teacher who just reads verbatim from a workbook. It was incredibly boring.

I really enjoyed attending the course because it was easy to follow. The teachers included all of the students to participate.
The time schedule was very flexible that I could easily change the day and time if needed.
I really enjoyed going to the in person classes, which was one of the main reasons why iI chosed Berges Institute.
I am looking forward to attending the next courses.

The Beginners Spanish course is very well designed. The rules of grammar are presented in a very focused way which allows for easing into conversational Spanish. Looking forward to Level 2.
