I can't believe how far I have come in just 10 weeks of Spanish class through Berges. With the small group size of each class, I'm able to ask every question that comes up, review all of my homework, and get lots of practice speaking Spanish with my classmates and professor. Speaking of professors, I can not speak highly enough of Rolando. He is engaging, clear, and has lots of ways to explain the language that help me make sense of how it's different than English. This makes Spanish feel more natural to me, as opposed to always trying to translate in my head. Despite joining Berges in November 2023, I haven’t managed to get past the first lesson due to scheduling issues with work and home. I’m trying again, starting July 1st. My classes will be different times and instructors in an event to work around my crazy schedule. So far I like it, especially being able to watch a video of each class….that’s very helpful. I pray I’m able to complete level one without stopping. Sorry I wasn’t able to give more of a detailed description of the course and instructors. Marcia Q

Some teachers did a better job of speaking more in Spanish than others. But consistency is good amongst courses.

The Spanish beginner's course was very well organized and covered all that's needed for a beginner to learn. The instructor Juan Carlos was very good at teaching and helped making us understand and reviewing the materials on weekly bases.

Yes! Most of our students are complete beginners. We designed our Beginners classes specifically for people with zero Spanish experience.

Will I be embarrassed in class as a beginner?

No. All Beginners students start at zero. Our teachers create a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of learning.

How is this different from Spanish apps?

We teach grammar rules first, then practice. Apps make you guess patterns. Our method is faster for adults.
