Spanish classes in Fargo

The course was excellent. I studied French for many years, but had no formal instruction in Spanish. I knew some words and phrases that I had learned from friends or from using apps and online self-study programs. The course pulled everything together by helping me to understand the grammar and have confidence that I was saying things correctly. I saw a huge improvement in my ability to read and understand Spanish. I also enjoyed the learning environment. Even though the course was online, I enjoyed the interaction with fellow students. I highly recommend this course.

I had the privilege of being a student in Professor Sofia's Spanish class, and I must express my sincere appreciation for her exceptional teaching style. Sofia proved to be an amazing educator who adeptly delivered content in a manner that was both accessible and easy to digest. One of the standout qualities of Professor Sofia was her deliberate pace, ensuring that all students could follow along and comprehend the material thoroughly. Her use of relatable examples and clear explanations significantly enhanced the learning experience, making complex concepts more manageable. What truly set Professor Sofia apart was her ability to create a classroom environment that was not only educational but also enjoyable. She infused a sense of joy and enthusiasm into her lessons, making the learning process both engaging and dynamic. Importantly, Sofia fostered a safe and supportive atmosphere where students felt comfortable making mistakes without fear of embarrassment. Berges Spanish was great! The class options allowed for taking classes when it worked in my schedule. The pace, practice, homework, and live lessons were supportive and truly moved me forward in learning Spanish. I will be starting the next level soon!

This was a great intro to Spanish. The approach offers a solid foundation for new learners.

Julia is great. The curriculum works well. I would have valued a bit more learning around everyday phrases and some basic aids to communicating, such as what I believe is a very commonly used verb quierer and tips like tener que. I am now learning about these in a different format that I am trying, which is more about learning to speak and comprehend, quickly. I suggest including the key verbs --- with reflexives, of course, we need llarmarse and levantarse, but do we really need to prioritize verbs for shaving and putting on makeup? Nonetheless, I am using what I learned with Julia a lot, and I would recommend to anyone the foundational benefits provided by Berges and Julia.

The course was great as far as materials and the instructor. I just found 90 minutes to be a very long time to commit on a weekly basis. I’d prefer an hour long course.
