I think the method of instruction is good however the course was still challenging for me having never studied the language before. I would like to see opportunities for additional learning like optional study groups with other students to practice and to reinforce the learning.
That said I enjoyed the course and will consider taking the next level course once I feel I have mastered this material. At this point (week 8) I am still stuggling to memorize all the vocab and the conjugation rules.

I’m very pleased with the beginner classes I’ve been taking. I had tried language apps before, but this program is so much better. My main reason for signing up was to finally understand the grammar, and these classes have absolutely delivered on that. Our teacher is excellent—professional, patient, and very clear. She explains grammar concepts in a way that makes them click, answers all our questions, and even prepares extra materials to reinforce tricky points. I also appreciate the homework; it’s purposeful and helps me practice what we learn in class. Overall, I’ve made real, noticeable progress in my Spanish, and I feel much more confident with the grammar that used to confuse me.
Also, the website is very well organized. I really like that you can easily join another group if your schedule conflicts.

The programme has taken us through a logical and enjoyable way of beginners Spanish. I have enjoyed working with the group and Monica is an excellent teacher. She is very knowlegdeable, approachable and empathetic. I have tried learning via apps, but there is nothing like having someone who can explain things and answer questions.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to learn Spanish with this method?
Most students become conversational after completing 5 levels (about 12-15 months of regular classes).
I've never studied Spanish before. Is this right for me?
Yes! Most of our students are complete beginners. We designed our Beginners classes specifically for people with zero Spanish experience.
Will I be embarrassed in class as a beginner?
No. All Beginners students start at zero. Our teachers create a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of learning.
How is this different from Spanish apps?
We teach grammar rules first, then practice. Apps make you guess patterns. Our method is faster for adults.
Do you teach Castilian or Latin American Spanish?
Spanish is one language with regional differences, mostly accent and a handful of everyday words, just like any other language. We teach standard Spanish, so what you learn works wherever it's spoken.
Are classes recorded?
No. Classes are live and not recorded, for student privacy and to keep speaking practice pressure-free.
How old do I need to be to enroll?
Our classes are for adults. The one exception: if you're 16 or 17, you can enroll as long as a parent or legal guardian accepts our terms on your behalf.
