Here is a vocabulary list with some common tech/internet terms.

1. Concepts for which we have an actual word in Spanish:

  • Enlace - link

  • Copiar/pegar - copy/paste

  • Bandeja de entrada - inbox

  • Borradores - drafts

  • CC (Copia de carbón) - CC (Carbon copy)

  • CCO (Copia de carbón oculta) - BCC (Blind carbon copy)

  • La nube - the cloud

  • La aplicación - the app

  • El programa - the software/the program

  • El sistema operativo - the operating system

  • La base de datos - the database

  • Descargar - to download

  • Subir - to upload

  • El disco duro - the hard drive

  • Iniciar sesión - to log in

  • Nombre de usuario - user name

  • Contraseña - password

  • Reiniciar - reboot/restart

  • Estar “caído” - to be “down”
