It was a great opportunity to chat in a casual yet casual setting. I never felt embarrassed making my usual 5,000 mistakes and Nelson was the best.

The course was small and Rolando (as well as the other teachers I did the make-up classes with) was very relaxed and clear. I had fun chatting and asking questions about the language that came to mind. That some homework is assigned is also good, though I am a lazy bugger and didn't do one assignment, I benefited from my fellow classmates brining in articles that interested them and the vocabulary that went along with it.

Some topics in the book were less interesting than others. The teacher sent videos to watch which was a great addition. More talking between the students would have been good.

This is the third course I take at Berges Institute and I've always had very positive experiences. The conversation classes always have a great atmosphere and Rolando is a great teacher! Highly recommend.

Super enjoyable and motivating at the same time --which is a perfect combination. Great class, and a plus is that location is easy to get to. My interest in learning more Spanish has grown a lot since this class and I immediately signed up for the next class. Highly recommended!

Conversations were interesting and enjoyable. I do wish we reviewed the homework in class, as I think it would have helped me motivate to do more of the readings. I struggled a bit with the freedom of the conversation class (without a concrete lesson to focus on) after the structure of the grammar classes. Maybe just my issue.

The course helped me tremendously improve my conversational skills in Spanish. The instructor worked to make the course relevant to the interest and needs of the students, so that every hour was useful and informative. The environment was relaxed, encouraging learning from the teacher as well as peer learning. I am a teacher: as a result of this course I was able to teach my first science lesson in Spanish!

Great balance of structured conversations based on the book/assignments and letting conversation flow naturally. Liked that students were corrected after they'd finished speaking unless our errors changed the meaning of what we were saying. Definitely helped to improve my Spanish and I'm looking forward to more classes at Berges!

the course was excellent. Nicolas the instructor is always fantastic. We found ourselves lacking for time the weeks presentations were due. The only other thing is that the class was a bit mate for my brain to work optimally.... Unfortunately there is a huge difference in understandability between teachers that you kind of have a incentive to stay with the same one.
