Laura Tain was born in the beautiful city of Sevilla, in the south of Spain, where she earned her Licenciatura and Master’s degree in Psychology, and became a Spanish teacher certified by the Instituto Cervantes.
A passionate of education and of her language and culture, Laura has taught Spanish to all ages and levels, from kindergarten to college, at many institutions, including the University of Chicago and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a total of eight elementary schools, both in Spain and in the United States. She believes that a true educator has to be kind, engaging, and encourage a passion for learning.
Laura is thrilled to contribute with her enthusiasm to the Berges Institute team, as she also learns about what the students have to offer. Besides teaching, she loves practicing yoga, eating sushi and growing strong relationships with others.
