Esther de la Rosa is originally from Madrid, Spain. She grew up surrounded by doctors and artists. She followed the artsy side of the family and got into literature early in her life. She even tried hard to learn to dance Flamenco for 4 years but she realized that, unfortunately, she was better at writing than dancing.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Complutense University of Madrid and a Master's degree in International Journalism. She has worked as a Press Officer and Communications Manager at various private and public entities in Spain, Mexico and the United States. She moved to New York in 2012, and has since worked as a Spanish instructor, teaching Spanish to students at different levels.

Besides teaching, she loves storytelling and her first graphic novel in Spanish will soon see the light in Spain and Latin America. Esther loves cooking Spanish food for her friends, and she’s one of those who is better over a glass of wine than a coffee.
